Best online GLP-1 providers compared

Nine services that can prescribe GLP-1 medication online, compared on what they charge, how long they lock you in and who each one suits.

Your real monthly cost = membership + medication.

Every clinic here bills medication separately (Found can bundle it). Manufacturer self-pay offers start at $149 a month for certain pill doses; higher doses can cost more, especially if refill conditions are missed. Use the cost finder and the full price table to compare totals.

Clinic by clinic

What each service does well and what to check before signing up.

Ro

Best for: people who want branded medication and help working out insurance coverage

What we like

  • Prescribes FDA-approved brands, including the newer pills
  • Checks your insurance coverage before you pay for medication
  • Annual prepay roughly halves the membership cost

Watch out for

  • Membership is $149/mo month-to-month
  • Medication is billed separately on top of membership

WeightWatchers Med+

Best for: lowest membership fee with a behavior-change program built in

What we like

  • Lowest monthly membership of the big names
  • Includes the WeightWatchers app, food tracking and coaching
  • Useful for keeping weight off if you later taper medication

Watch out for

  • The low rate needs a 6- or 12-month plan that renews unless you cancel
  • Medication is billed separately

Hims & Hers

Best for: people who already use Hims or Hers for other care

What we like

  • Fast, app-first sign-up and messaging
  • No long commitment required

Watch out for

  • Medication billed separately on top of a $149/mo membership
  • Medication lineup has shifted over time; confirm what you'd actually be prescribed

LifeMD

Best for: primary-care style telehealth with an annual weight-loss plan

What we like

  • Annual plan cuts the membership roughly in half
  • Broader telehealth service beyond weight loss

Watch out for

  • Offers vary between pages; confirm your exact terms at checkout
  • Medication billed separately

Calibrate

Best for: structured one-on-one coaching on food, sleep, exercise and mindset

What we like

  • Most hands-on coaching in this list
  • Program built around long-term metabolic health, not just the prescription

Watch out for

  • Most expensive membership here
  • Medication and lab work are not included

Sesame

Best for: lowest cost if you plan to stay on treatment for a year

What we like

  • Cheapest membership in this comparison
  • Fill at your own pharmacy or a manufacturer program

Watch out for

  • The $59 rate locks you into 12 months
  • Less coaching than program-style clinics

Found

Best for: flexibility to use insurance or pay cash

What we like

  • Separate insurance and cash-pay tracks
  • Behavior program alongside prescriptions

Watch out for

  • 28-day billing means 13 charges a year, not 12
  • Insurance-track visits may carry copays

Ivim Health

Best for: trying online care with a low-risk first month

What we like

  • Flat $75/mo membership
  • Free first month offer

Watch out for

  • Medication offers are separate; compare total cost carefully

Mochi Health

Best for: people hoping insurance will cover a branded GLP-1

What we like

  • Works with insurance as well as self-pay
  • Obesity-medicine focused

Watch out for

  • Cash membership price isn't clearly published; confirm before you sign up

How to choose

If you'll stay on treatment a year, annual or 12-month plans (Sesame, WeightWatchers Med+, Ro or LifeMD prepaid) cost roughly half the month-to-month rate. Read the renewal terms first.

If you think insurance might pay, start with a clinic that checks coverage before you pay for medication, such as Ro, Found or Mochi.

If you want help changing habits, Calibrate and WeightWatchers Med+ build coaching into the price. That matters most for keeping weight off long term.

If you already have a doctor willing to prescribe, you may not need a clinic at all. Ask them to send the prescription to LillyDirect (Zepbound, Foundayo) or NovoCare Pharmacy (Wegovy) for self-pay prices.

If you prefer a single visit over a subscription, compare no-membership care routes. Check follow-up visit fees and whether the clinician can prescribe your preferred FDA-approved medication.

Red flags

Be cautious with any service that promises a prescription without a medical review, sells "research-use" peptides, or labels compounded medicine as Wegovy or Zepbound. Read our compounded GLP-1 explainer.

If brand-name prices are out of reach, see the compounded programs we screened, and read the risks first.
